  • Can I do multiple booking for different transfer services?

    Yes you can. Use the booking forms available to do as many booking as you wish.

  • How can I book a transfer with Blue Sky Travel?

    We have design an easy online booking system in 4 steps which takes less than 5 minutes to book a transfer with us.

    • 1st Step – Fill in the transfer details e.g. Pick-up& drop-off -location /Date/ Time/ Flight and number of passengers. Click continue
    • 2nd Step – Provide your personal details e.g. Name/E-mail & Residential address/ Phone number and any other information related to your transfer. Click continue
    • 3rd Step – Review your booking e.g. check if all the information you provided are correct and click confirm.

    It is that simple! Immediately after booking your vehicle, you will receive a confirmation of receipt via email. As soon as we finish your booking process we will send you a booking confirmation and invoice via email.

  • After a booking, can I cancel or change my booking

    For booking cancellation please refer to our cancellation policy. If for any reason there is a change in your transfer you can email us include your reservation receipt to change or cancel your transfer booking. No fees is charged for amendments in booking. ( You have received a reservation receipt on booking process ).
  • When should I book my airport/hotel/airport transfers with Blue Sky Travel?

    Blue Sky Travel recommend that you book your transfers as soon you have all your flight details to ensure your reservation being handled and confirmed quite in advance. Hence free you from the rush to secure last minute booking.

  • Last minute reservation request? To change to - Can I make a last minute reservation request?

    We accept booking made 72hrs before for your pick up time to avoid any confusion. We may accept last minute reservations provided that we have all the necessary information of your transfer and that the booking was confirmed by Blue Sky Travel. If you would like to make a last minute reservation, we will use all of our resources to make sure that we can help you.

  • How can I find my driver at the Airport?

    After passage to the baggage and customs area, your driver will be waiting for you at the arrival hall before exit holding a sign of your name or simply holding a sign of Blue Sky Travel.

  • If I cannot find the appropriate person from Blue Sky Travel, what should I do?

    If you cannot find your driver at the meeting point, Please call at the MTPA counter in the arrival hall or you can also try to reach the staff at Blue Sky Travel by using the emergency number on your reservation form.

  • If I cannot be at the meeting point or if my flight is delayed, what should I do?

    Flight Delay: For any reason if your flight is delayed, please call the emergency number which is on your reservation form. We will arrange another transfer according to the new arrival time.We will not charge you for this service.

    Delay at customs and immigration: If you are late or have a delay when arriving you must contact Blue Sky Travel either by telephone or text message. We will not charge you as your driver will be waiting for you at the meeting point. If your flight has arrived on time and we cannot find you at the meeting point, nor can we reach you by telephone, we will leave after 60 minutes of your transfer time. If this was to happen we will not refund your payment.

    Please note that; if you inform us that you will be delayed, your transfer driver will wait for you and Blue Sky Travel will not leave you stranded!

    If there is a delay on our behalf due to weather or traffic conditions you will be notified immediately through the contact number you’ve provided, so please make sure it is correct.

  • Is it safe to book a transfer online with Blue Sky Car Rental?

    Booking a car online with us is 100% safe and your money is guaranteed. Paying your invoices online is reliable and secure with our system.We don’t have access to any of your financial information. If you pay with a credit card, the payment is made directly with our bank secure payment gateway ( secure socket layer - SSl ).

  • How do I pay for my booking?

    Thanks to Advanced technology, we can receive payment through a number of different methods. Currently you can pay via bank transfer or online by credit card (Visa, MasterCard and American Express). We require a minimum of 20% down payment to secure a booking. Please note that bank transfers are not available for last minute bookings (less than 3 days before pickup)

  • Last minute reservation requests;

    We do not accept last minute reservations from certain airports, if you would like to make a last minute reservation. Please go to “Contact” and fill in the contact form. We will use all of our resources to make sure that we can help you.

  • Should I tip?

    Tipping is welcomed but not required and is left to the discretion of the customers. Please note that you do not have to pay any more money once you have bought your transfer.

  • Can I travel with pets?

    If you are to travel with a pet we will accept this as long as they are under 5kg and not over. Pets must be kept in a cage. Please ensure you have enough space in the transfer vehicle for the amount of pets you have. Be sure to book a bigger vehicle if you have more than one pet or judging on how big your pet is.

  • How much time the driver will wait for me after my flight has landed?

    When your flight lands we leave you enough time to get your luggage and go through customs. Normally in Mauritius it takes you approximately 45 minutes to collect luggage and pass customs.

  • Should I communicate my telephone number to Blue Sky Travel?

    It is very important to communicate at least one mobile phone number, as all urgent information will be communicated to you through your telephone. The contact telephone number you supply us must be valid as the customer this is your responsibility. Blue Sky Travelcannot be held responsible for any problems which may arise due to incorrect telephone numbers.

  • What time should I be picked up for my departure transfer?

    For departure reservations; Domestic flights require to check-in 1 hour prior and international flights need to check in 2 hours prior to the flight. We recommend that you judge your pick up time by these details above.

  • Can I consume alcoholic beverages and smoke during my transfer?

    We do not allow smoking and consumption of alcohol in our vehicles. If you want to smoke, please ask your driver to stop for a couple of minutes for a pause.

N.B - Blue Sky Travel reserves the right to refuse service to intoxicated or abusive customers.
